The Last Crown
A Social Community Game

More Challenging than Bingo

Meet & Greet - Winning Cash and Prizes

The Last Crown is a fun social game played at Legions, ANAF clubs, 55 Plus Seniors Clubs, local community clubs and halls, schools and fund raising events. The game is challenging and does guarantee interactive social play.

The Last Crown is a game which combines the fun of a modest wager, the chance to win cash and/or prizes and a social fun experience. It offers the opportunity for a club regular weekly, bi-weekly or monthly event!

The Last Crown is a visual program, the cards are both projected on a screen and announced by the presenter thereby eliminating any confusion as to the exact card presented.

The Last Crown play cards include 56 cards, 5 suits, Hearts, Diamonds, Clubs, Spades and Stars. Each suit includes 3 through King. There is one Joker. There are no ace's or two's. A typical game of The Last Crown (7 hands) will be played over approximately one hour. One two or three games per event.

How the Game is Played
The game is based on four players per table, two players forming a partnership, the partners moving from table to table at the completion of each hand. The partners will determine in advance if they will share potential cash winnings. The game does offer partners an opportunity using their two combined hands to win extra prizes or draw tickets!

Partners Commitment
The game will enjoy expanded audiences as partners make a commitment to one another and attend on a regular basis.

There are 7 hands during the game.

Cash prizes will be awarded for each of the 7 hands.

The game may be played with 24 to 500 players.

The winner awards increase in each of the 7 hands.

One player deals the entire deck (56 cards) 14 per player.

The player may hold the cards as they would in other card games or simply place them face up on the table. There is no need to hide the cards from the other players.

Prior to the game/hand commencing players who hold specified poker hands (which appear on the screen), win draw tickets to be drawn at the end of the game. Examples: "Seven Clubs", "Four Kings" etc. The Poker hand challenge changes from hand to hand.

Also prior to the game commencing, partners will be offered an opportunity to win draw tickets based on their two combined hands. Example "Five Queens", "Nine Hearts" etc.

As the game progresses one card will appear on the screen in a scrambles rotation. The player at each table holding the card will discard the card into the tray provided to each player.

The first player participating in the game who discards his or her last card shall win the hand and shall shout out loudly ... "FOURTEEN". Any player may wins one, two or more hands during the 7 hand event shall receive a bonus award based on multiple wins.

Meet and Greet!
Once a winner has been confirmed players representing "Partnership A" then move forward to the next table and join the "Partnership B" players at that table. This encourages everyone to meet and greet new friends throughout the event!

Once the 7th winner has been determind the draw tickets are drawn to determine "Bonus Winners" which are either cash, prizes, restaurant gift certificates or free passes to the next The Last Crown event.

Presenter
The Last Crown is presented by a local "The Last Crown" representative who provides the program, the cards, and the equipment.

If there are multiple games during an event the Carry-Over target remaining the same during the events one, two or three games. The Carry-Over Jackpot might also be offered with a separate Carry - Over entry fee of $2 or the game entry fee being increased to $12 to create a substantial carry-over pot!

Substantial Club Net Income
The Last Crown is a net income program providing a substantial funding opportunity for a club or fund raising event. Assuming a growing participation of players, the net income would be $400 to $1,000 per event. Potentially $50,000 per year if played on a weekly event schedule.

Other Potential Income
A large audience offers an opportunity to create additional net income. This may include the sale of food and beverages, a silent auction, the sale of a 50/50 draw or other creative fun programs. Local restaurants might offer free gift certificates to promote their establishment.

Childrens Play - Optional

Community Clubs are encouraged to include children's play. We recommend they play free and child winners receive appropriate fun prizes, possibly a $5 Dairy Queen Gift Certificate! When children play there will be two winners for each hand, an adult and a child. When either a child or adult announces a win the game coninues until the alternate is also announced. For budget reasons we recommend a maximum of one child per adult. This ratio will also encourage more parents and/or grandparents to participate.
